About Hostal Marques de Zahara

The Hostal Rural Marqués de Zahara is the result of the reformation of a manor house to a rural hotel, maintaining its intimate and relaxing atmosphere.

Its ten rooms are distributed on two floors and built around a traditional central patio. Rooms are decorated in typical Castellano style and fully equipped with private bathroom, air conditioning, led TV and free WiFi.

From the plant decorated patio we can access the bar cafeteria “Don Rodrigo”, where we can enjoy the breakfast in the morning starting the day, or an aperitif glass at sunset. 200 meters from the hotel there is a free parking area and an underground paid parking.

Situated in the artistic and historical area of Villa de Zahara, it’s the ideal starting point to explore the Ruta de los Pueblos Blancos, or follow the walking routes of the Natural Park “Sierra de Grazalema”. At the lake you can hire kayaks, go fishing, and enjoy other sports like swimming etc. Every year in September the Triathlon TITAN is hosted here and other mountain events like the Las Palomas Trail, or the Pinsapar Cañon Trail in April.

The popular celebrations of Corpus Christi in June and the anniversary of the Taking of the Villa de Zahara at the end of October are certainly worth a mention. And don’t forget to take a sample of the magnificent locally produced olive oil when you go.

Without doubt this is the ideal location to enjoy rest and relax whilst learning more of the culture and traditions of the Pueblos Blancos de Andalucía in incredible surroundings.

El hostal está situado en el centro, nada más salir te encuentras con varios bares, restaurantes y si caminas un poco una plaza con un mirador precioso. La habitación era amplia y cómoda. Todo estaba muy limpio y el trato fue muy familiar y agradable.

El hostal está en pleno centro de Zahara, cerca de tiendas, bares, iglesias... el recibimiento fue muy bueno, el recepcionista nos acompaño a la habitación, nos puso el aire, abrió la ventana... y el trato bien. La habitación muy completa, con minibar, máquina de aire, balcón pequeño pero bonito. Y la decoración del hostal muy mona. Por poner una pega, no tenia ascensor y tuve que subir la maleta hasta un segundo.

Céntrico y con encanto

Ubicado en pleno centro en una casa solariega. El personal muy atento y amable. Las únicas desventajas, aunque son propias del pueblo y de las fechas más que del establecimiento, son la dificultad para acceder en coche y el ruido del ambiente nocturno. Dispone de restaurante con una carta que ofrece especialidades de la zona bastante recomendables.
