About Hostal Marques de Zahara

The Hostal Rural Marqués de Zahara is the result of the reformation of a manor house to a rural hotel, maintaining its intimate and relaxing atmosphere.

Its ten rooms are distributed on two floors and built around a traditional central patio. Rooms are decorated in typical Castellano style and fully equipped with private bathroom, air conditioning, led TV and free WiFi.

From the plant decorated patio we can access the bar cafeteria “Don Rodrigo”, where we can enjoy the breakfast in the morning starting the day, or an aperitif glass at sunset. 200 meters from the hotel there is a free parking area and an underground paid parking.

Situated in the artistic and historical area of Villa de Zahara, it’s the ideal starting point to explore the Ruta de los Pueblos Blancos, or follow the walking routes of the Natural Park “Sierra de Grazalema”. At the lake you can hire kayaks, go fishing, and enjoy other sports like swimming etc. Every year in September the Triathlon TITAN is hosted here and other mountain events like the Las Palomas Trail, or the Pinsapar Cañon Trail in April.

The popular celebrations of Corpus Christi in June and the anniversary of the Taking of the Villa de Zahara at the end of October are certainly worth a mention. And don’t forget to take a sample of the magnificent locally produced olive oil when you go.

Without doubt this is the ideal location to enjoy rest and relax whilst learning more of the culture and traditions of the Pueblos Blancos de Andalucía in incredible surroundings.

Me he alojado con mi mujer y mi hijo una noche, ha estado todo perfecto, la ubicación ha sido perfecta, a pesar de ser muy antiguo estaba todo limpisimo y en perfecto estado manteniendo su esencia, el personal muy agradable. El desayuno ideal

Estupendo hostal, muy limpio, buen trato del personal a los clientes, y situado en muy buen lugar, centrico, con bares en la misma calle con un buen precio y buenas vistas. Lo recomiendo.

Trato excelente. Limpieza excelente. Habitación amplia. Colchones excelentes. Baño y suelos de la habitación viejecitos. Hostal acogedor y bonito. Desayuno muy simple. Muy buena situación. Fácil de aparcar en la zona. Pueblo pequeño, superbonito y con ambiente. Entorno precioso en primavera.

Buen Hotel

Muy buen hotel para pasar un fin de semana. La habitación sencilla pero agradable. Sería estupendo si tuviera restaurante o algún bar para tomar una copa. Hay uno con un patio pequeño pero cierra muy pronto.
