About Hostal Marques de Zahara

The Hostal Rural Marqués de Zahara is the result of the reformation of a manor house to a rural hotel, maintaining its intimate and relaxing atmosphere.

Its ten rooms are distributed on two floors and built around a traditional central patio. Rooms are decorated in typical Castellano style and fully equipped with private bathroom, air conditioning, led TV and free WiFi.

From the plant decorated patio we can access the bar cafeteria “Don Rodrigo”, where we can enjoy the breakfast in the morning starting the day, or an aperitif glass at sunset. 200 meters from the hotel there is a free parking area and an underground paid parking.

Situated in the artistic and historical area of Villa de Zahara, it’s the ideal starting point to explore the Ruta de los Pueblos Blancos, or follow the walking routes of the Natural Park “Sierra de Grazalema”. At the lake you can hire kayaks, go fishing, and enjoy other sports like swimming etc. Every year in September the Triathlon TITAN is hosted here and other mountain events like the Las Palomas Trail, or the Pinsapar Cañon Trail in April.

The popular celebrations of Corpus Christi in June and the anniversary of the Taking of the Villa de Zahara at the end of October are certainly worth a mention. And don’t forget to take a sample of the magnificent locally produced olive oil when you go.

Without doubt this is the ideal location to enjoy rest and relax whilst learning more of the culture and traditions of the Pueblos Blancos de Andalucía in incredible surroundings.

Muy buen hotel para conocer la zona de los Publos Blancos. Limpio y cuidado, con ambiente andaluz y medieval bastante original. Bonito patio. Trato familiar en cantador del personal. Volveremos.

Muy bien situado en todo el centro de zahara Edificio típico de los pueblos de la sierra de Cadiz, muy bien el bar que tiene en la entrada y el precio asequible. El trato es excelente y ls vistas muy buenas, ideal para los días de fiestas, ya que se puede ver todo desde los balcones.

We have just had a fabulous time in Andalucia and our stay at the Hostal Maques de Zahara was excellent. The location is great, right at the centre of the village and the atmosphere at the hostal, the attention to detail and the service provided by Sr Santiago makes it an all round success - I would definitely go back and would recommend ... If you visit dont hesitate to ask Sr Santiago about the area, he will be more than happy to help.

Estuvimos alojadas cuatro noches. Estuvo todo perfecto. La habitación amplia y limpia. El trato muy bueno y diligente.Excelente relación calidad precio. Los propietarios no sólo buscan dar un alojamiento sino consentir los gustos de las personas que los visitan. El diseño del hostal encantador, con un sabor a tradiciones muy bien selecionadas. Al propietario Sr. Santiago, le pueden preguntar por leyendas e historias del lugar así como todo lo relaccionado y como hacer rutas turísticas. Excelente lugar.
